The 2024 Honda CB650R introduces several notable features, with the optional E-Clutch system being a standout innovation. This technology allows riders to shift gears up or down without using the clutch lever, enhancing the riding experience. The E-Clutch system operates through an actuator unit with two motors housed within the right-side engine cover. It monitors various parameters, including speed, throttle opening angle, rpm, and shift pedal pressure, to ensure smooth shifting. Riders can adjust the shift feel independently for both upshifts and downshifts, with three levels of adjustment: Soft, Medium, and Hard. If preferred, the rider can still use the clutch lever, which temporarily deactivates the E-Clutch system. 


In addition to the E-Clutch, the 2024 CB650R features a new five-inch full-color TFT screen, providing improved visibility and a modern interface. The bike also receives styling updates, including a new LED headlight, enhancing its dynamic appearance. Mechanically, the CB650R retains its 649cc inline-four engine, delivering a peak power of 94bhp at 12,000rpm and maximum torque of 46lb·ft at 9,500rpm. The suspension setup includes a 43mm Showa Big Piston Fork in the front and a Showa shock in the rear, offering a balanced and responsive ride. Braking is managed by dual 310mm discs with radial-mount four-piston calipers in the front and a single 240mm disc in the rear.
